A Bulgarian Toy Factory Building a Facility in Pirot - "Irely" Buys 150,000 EUR Worth of Land in the Industrial Zone

The building of a facility belonging to a Bulgarian wooden toy factory will start at the beginning of summer in Pirot, and according to the announcements, it will employ around twenty workers.

It was said during the signing of the agreement between Vladan Vasić, the president of the municipality of Pirot and Ivan Ivanov, the manager of the Bulgarian company "Irely", that the number of workers might increase depending on successfulness of the company's business activities. The investment is around 1 mil EUR worth.

- The "Irely" company now owns the land in our industrial zone which it has bought for 150,000 EUR, the sum which has been paid to the municipality's budget account. By the end of the summer, the facility will commence production, and this is one of the ways through which we can revive the wood industry in Pirot - said Vasić.

Ivan Ivanov, the manager of the company, which, among others, produces toys for IKEA, has said that they expect to gain the building permit in the following days, after which the designing and building will begin.

- We expect to hire an additional 50 workers next year, but it all depends on raw materials, organization and the way we manage to position ourselves in this region. I'm planning a long-term investment and, if needed, to buy new land and expand the business - said Ivanov.

It has been pointed out that the production facility will work with wood from the forest property in Pirot.
