Introduction of energy managers in industry starts

In Serbia, in cooperation with Japan, introduction of energy managers in industry has started and the first to be covered are the largest consumers or companies that consume more than 2,500 tons of energy or oil equivalent, deputy minister of energy Milos Banjac, said.

These are companies which as public service carry out activities in the field of PTT traffic, energy, roads, utilities and other fields. These companies must deliver to ministry an annual report, and energy manager takes care of the report preparation.

Banjac, at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce said that introduction of energy management in Serbia has finally started and reminded that introduction in local self- governance started .
