April 29-May 3 non-working days

The Ministry of labor, employment, veteran and social affairs announced that the non-working days will be from April 29 to May 3 because this year Easter and Labor Day match.

According to the Law on State and Other Holidays in the Republic of Serbia we celebrate Easter, from Good Friday until the second day of Easter.

Easter holidays in 2016 are celebrated as of April 29 (Friday) until May 2 (Monday).

Labor Day is a national holiday to be celebrated May 1 and 2 (this year on Sunday and Monday).

- If one of the days when celebrating a national holiday of the Republic of Serbia is Sunday, next day is a non-working. Since May 1 and 2 this year is Sunday and Monday, non-working is May 3 (Tuesday) – Ministry concludes.
