"Green Corridor" is a chance to increase export - Serbian fruit and vegetables speeds up its way to Russia
Opening the borders for agricultural products from Serbia, or set up of a "green corridor", as estimated by Evica Mihaljevic from the Association "Fruits of Serbia", will contribute to a significant acceleration of export procedures to this big country, as well as transport cost reduction, making our goods competitive.
Russia, as Novosti wrote, during a visit of Ivica Dacic, minister of foreign affair, Russia, offered to our country a set up of "green corridor" for our, primarily agricultural, products, so that our goods with simplified customs procedures would get to Russian market easier and faster.
- This kind of a solution will enable first of all faster transport of goods from Serbia to Russia, i.e. long waiting of trucks at customs will be avoided, and it used to happen so far – Mihaljevic says.
- Therefore, we will have better and faster goods turnover, faster arrival to a customer, and of course, the possibility to market higher quantities of our fruit and other products.
