Chocolates instead of edible oil - company "Invej", owner of Sombor-based oil factory "Sunce", to organize production of confectioneries in factory

According to the announcements of president of company "Invej", the majority owner of Sombor-based oil factory "Sunce", that factory will most probably be closed, that is, moved to Zrenjanin, and equipment for production of confectioneries will be moved into its units.

Namely, "Invej" is in the middle of negotiations with a Swiss confectionery company.

If the negotiations end successfully, edible oil will no longer be produced in Sombor, and workers who stay in the factory will be packing candies.

- In that case, we would keep all 300 employees in the Sombor factory - said Dejan Stanković, representative of company "Invej", yesterday (November 14, 2007), during the talks with the head people of Municipality of Sombor.
