Serbia to get 1 billion EUR from EU funds prior to year 2011

Prior to 2011, Serbia will get financial support in amount of 1 billion EUR from the IPA fund of European Union.

- Kosovo will obtain 395m EUR from the same fund, while Montenegro will receive 166m EUR - European Commission announced in Brussels.

Thanks to the Instrument of pre-admission aid (IPA) for potential candidates for membership in EU from the Western Balkans, Bosnia and Herzegovina should obtain 440m EUR, in period from 2007 to 2011, for economic, structural and political stabilization projects.
