Electronic device as support in leukemia treatment - University of Novi Sad coordinates European research project

The University in Novi Sad is a coordinator of the project called "Cost-effective microfluidic electronic devices for optimal drug administration based on fractional pharmacokinetics for leukemia treatments" (acronym MEDLEM), and the consortium of the project comprises three companies from EU - "Elvesys SAS" from France, "Marcotech oHG" from Germany and "Genochem SAS" from France as well as two Universities outside - "Prince Songkla University" from Thailand and "Curtin University" from Australia.
Basic project objective is development of electronic device which should in an optimal way, based on calculations and innovation model, carry out delivery of drug metatraxat for the patients suffering leukemia and thus the number of people surviving this disease increases and continue normal life.
Total budget of a four-year project is EUR 283.500.
