A mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is coming to Belgrade on February 17 for the fourth review of the current stand-by arrangement with Serbia, it was said Friday (12 February 2016) to Beta news agency in the IMF office in Belgrade.
Official talks between IMF representatives and Serbian authorities will begin February 18 and end February 26.
Serbia signed a EUR 1.2 billion three-year stand-by precautionary arrangement with the IMF in February 2015.
Previous three reviews of the arrangement were successful because the IMF assessed that the program with Serbia was giving good results, but they also noted there were still risks to the preservation of macroeconomic stability and the achievement of economic growth.
