Ljig-Preljina highway stretch to be done by August - Works valued at EUR 300 million

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has announced that he is going to tour the construction site of the 35-kilometer highway stretch between Ljig and Preljina on Corridor XI on Monday, February 1st, adding that the whole that section about 41 kilometers long will be done by August.

Vucic has also said he will visit the construction site of the Savinac Tunnel on that stretch.

According to him, there are 96 facilities, 56 bridges and 40 tunnels along the route of the highway to Cacak.

The main contractor for the Ljig-Preljina highway stretch is the Azerbaijani company Azvirt, and all the work is financed with the proceeds of an Azerbaijani loan of EUR 300 million.
