Hellenic sugar is planning expansion in 2016 - During 2015, 73.000 tons of sugar produced

Hellenic sugar Srbija reduced fixed costs thanks to production in one of two plants and with higher sales prices, succeeded in fulfilling its commitments on time and turns last year’s losses into positive results for plant Crvenka despite low production scope.

The company has started preparation of 2016 campaign which targets at production boost of 50%. That kind of an objective requires production in both plants, in Crvenka and Zabalj. Due to higher investment, it is expected that sugar beet harvest will result in higher yields compared to other domestic ones.
