Construction of Center for stem cells research in Kragujevac is starting January 25 - Scientific facility to be finished by April 2017

(Future Excellence Center)Construction of the Center for stem cells research in Kragujevac should start January 25, five years after delay. It will extend on 11.500 m2 and will be located at the lot of 17 ha which the City of Kragujevac donated.

The European Investment Bank paid EUR 10 m for the construction of the Center since finally all essential documentation for unique scientific and education institution in the part of Europe was collected. The project totals EUR 14 m and it should be done by April 2017.

The facility which will be called Excellence Center should comprise six scientific institutions which operate under the Faculty of medical sciences.
