Protocol on providing phyto-sanitary requests signed with Russia


(Sergey Dankvert and Sneyana Bogosavljevic Boskovic) The minister of production and environmental protection, Snezana Bogosavljevic Boskovic and the head of the Federal Bureau for veterinary and phyto sanitary supervision of Russia, Sergey Dankvert signed January 12, in Belgrade, Protocol on providing phyto-sanitary requests with mutual deliveries of products with high phyto-sanitary risk. The Protocol was signe dafter plenary meeting of Intergovernmental Serbian and Russian Committee for trading, economic and scientific and technical cooperation.
After signing the Protocol, Bogosavljevic Boskovic said to journalists that the document refers to phyto sanitary control of all agricultural products which Serbia and Russia trade in.
Dankvert said that document signed today wll enable increase of export from Serbia to Russia since it defines clear procedures which will provide overall control which will guarantee goods is originally from Serbia.
Bogosavljevic Boskovic also said that last Serbia exported agricultural and food products totaling over 2,7 billion dollars, specifying that suffice of app. USD 252 was generated with Russia.
