Drinking water in Zrenjanin not before June 2016 - Works kick off January, money provided by investor

The end of the year is near, but the promise made by Zrenjanin authorities that the people of that town would finally start drinking clean water before the year's end has remained unfulfilled. A solution to the problem of water supply was then announced from the rooftops, and even an agreement was signed with the Italian group Zilio, but nothing has come out of it yet.
Goran Tajdic, the director of the Zrenjanin public utility company Vodovod i Kanalizacija, says that the previous deadline of end-2015 has been extended a bit, adding that works will be commenced in mid-January 2016 and completed by April 2016.
