MK Group and Industrija mesa Matijevic compete for PIK Becej - Initial price at auction totals EUR 42,7 m


Sale of agricultural combine PIK Becej through public auction will be held December 17 and so far only two buyers applied for the acquisition of the company, MK Group owned by Miodrag Kostic and Industrija mesa Matijevic by Petar Matijevic, "Agrosmart" portal reports.
Deadline to submit offers expires on Tuesday, December 15 and Kostic and Matijevic delivered banking guarantees to participate at an auction totaling EUR 17,1 m. Estimated value of capital of combine is EUR 85,5 m, and the initial price at the auction is EUR 42,7 m.
The Fantast Castle is not under hammer since former property of land owner Bogdan Dundjerski which was left to Matic srpska.
Sales advertisement for PIK Becej was published
in mid-November and it states that Working Unit Ratarstvo has agricultural land
and under systems for irrigation on 2.908 ha, center for seeds processing,
cattle food mixer, silos for 44.500 tons,
large and small machinery.
After four years of bankruptcy and 230 days in blockade, Becej-based combine went bankrupt in May this year and a buyer does not have a commitment to keep 1.400 employees.
