Meggle Srbija is planning to increase production and new hires

Mayor, Radomir Nikolic, head of Sumadija managing region, Damjan Srejic and representatives of Regional chamber of commerce, Predrag Lucic and Dusan Petkovic visited Kragujevac-based production departments.

– Since Kragujevac will, in cooperation with Chinese CMEC, get meat treatment facility, there are numerous options. In cooperation with Chinese partners, we planned export of 50.000 tons of meat annually. All farmers will have the chance to join cooperation. Since this way we increase the number of cattle, we will definitely have increased milk quantity which would be good for everyone involved – Nikolic said.

At the moment, Kragujevac-based company has sufficient milk quantities but there is a need to expand capacities which would generate terms to involve small farmers as well.

– We received certificate so that domestic products would be exported to EU market. We are very satisfied with business this year. We are planning to expand production department and hire more people – Aleksandar Nedeljkovic, head of Meggle Srbija said.
