Serbia's budget deficit in 2016 will be lower than RSD 120 billion



In his presentation of the budget proposal for 2016, at the meeting of the assembly Board for Finance, Vujovic said that Serbia is on the way “to get out of the mud” and that we did not throw the victim in the form of salary and pension cuts.
According to him, the fund of salary cuts provided savings of 80 billion and Serbia went through the most difficult part which is a trend turnover – Maybe we still do not live better we are on the way to get out of the mud – Vujovic said.
The minister of finance said that, apart from other things, incentives will decrease to 80 and something billion dinars from 120. Speaking about budget aspect of rationalization of public administration, Vujovic said there are decisions of the Government of Serbia when it comes to headcount cuts by the end of this year and commitments which every ministry will take over in the next two years.
He added he was shocked with the request of the Governmental auditing institution to fulfill all their plans since they are asking 100 m more.
Vujovic communicated that the Government of Serbia will finish the talks with IMF in February 2016.
