Another Italian investments in Sabac - Vopachel is building a plant for production of polyethylene industrial bags

David Tomasin, GM at Vopachel, says he decided to invest in Sabac after positive experience with Intercel, an investment from 2007, website of the Sabac municipality communicates.

Felipo Fedaldo, representative of Vopachel in Serbia that for a start they are planning to set up two production lines for supplying of Serbian market with products made of polyethylene and industrial bags. In the first round, they will hire 35 people and nearly 70 in the second. Total investment is EUR 5,5 m.

The mayor of Sabac, Nebojsa Zelenovic, visited the construction site and discussed with company reps the plans. As he outlined, they agreed on investments in Sabac quickly and the construction site is a good example that there is developing economy in Sabac.

He added Sabac that Industrial zone is fully-equipped with infrastructure. At the same time, issuance of construction permits is efficient which makes good conditions for all foreign and local firms.
