FREDHEIM: Serbia implements significant reforms

(Ove Fredheim) Serbia has implemented significant reforms and it is a positive message, president of the Foreign Investors’ Council, Ove Fredheim, said for RTS upon presentation of the “White Book” of the Foreign Investors’ Council.

Fredheim, who is the head at Telenor Srbija, said for Dnevnik RTS that "White Book" is a comprehensive document which covers legal and regulatory business practice in Serbia.

He said that “White Book” is being defined in the dialogue with the state of Serbia and as positive steps he outlined regulations which refer to construction permits, land and inspection.

As Fredheim said, the objective is to continue a dialogue with the Government. He said that results of Serbian economy recovery have already been visible, which investors also keep track of.

Uve Fredheim aid investments increased and speaking about the new ones he outlined that they have been working on increase in transparency and business predictability.

"White Book" of Foreign Investors’ Council is a special diagnosis of business in Serbia which foreign companies provide as well as recommendations of what is necessary to be done so that new vacancies would emerge.
