In the new "Ease of Doing Business" list of the World Bank, Serbia ranks 59th, meaning that it has climbed 32 places since the last year, which indicates that Serbia offers a secure and safe business environment, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said today.

Vucic stressed at a meeting between Russian and Serbian businessmen in Moscow that that progress did not even cover the reforms carried out lately.

- It is an important news not only for the citizens of Serbia, but also for those who want to come to Serbia and invest because they can count on a serious and secure business environment, where investment pays off and where we guarantee the security of investment - said Vucic.

He reminded that Serbia had fallen 15 places in the "Ease of Doing Business" list in 2014, underlining that the year 2015 had seen Serbia making the biggest progress of all countries.

- This means we have done so much and it will be a clear signal to all investors that Serbia is today a safe place for their investment - said Vucic.

He added that the wish of the Serbian government was to see our country among the top 40 in the world.
