Serbia is expanding cooperation with the Russians in railways field – Speed of 120 km per hour is not sufficient

The minister of construction, infrastructure and traffic, Zorana Mihajlovic, expects that next week in Moscow they sign a memorandum in railways field. Before the visit of the delegation of Serbia to Russia which will gather a prime minister, businessmen and a number of ministers, she said that Serbia and Russia have good bilateral relations as well as that there is a possibility to expand them.

- First of all, I am speaking about economic relations. In Serbia, we travel with speeds of 120 km per hour at some railways, it is not sufficient but we expect to sign a memorandum in railways field with Russia- Mihajlovic said.

Mihajlovic underlined a dispatcher center which will manage railways must be modernized.

Mihajlovic announced they will also discuss other topics related to export.

Mihajlovic outlined that past saw halts in spending Russian loan of EUR 800 m.
