EU pre-accession funds for Serbian agriculture - IPARD project enables a total of EUR 175 m to our farmers

The Ministry of agriculture
previously announced that in early next year our farmers will have at disposal
EUR 175 m from pre-accession EU funds within IPARD project. However, will our
farmers know how to get to these funds and documentation? Apart from that, these conditions will require
certain investments by farmers.
Framers are interested and want to invest their funds but they need to know whether they will
be able to refund the investment from EU, Goran Puaca, farmer from Futog says.
Funds from IPARD program will help farmers in being competitive at the European
market - farming, fruit growing, vegetable growing, meat and milk production as
well as some kinds of organic production.
