MIHAJLOVIC: Half an hour from Novi Sad to Belgrade

(Zorana Mihajlovic) In two years, it will take only half an hour from Novi Sad to Belgrade, VP of the Government, Zorana Mihajlovic, who expects that November will see signed umbrella agreement from the construction of the Belgrade-Budapest fast railroad, says.

At the Railway infrastructure in the region conference opening, she said that “in three years latest, we will have 500 km of modernized railroads where trains will develop speeds higher than 120 km per hour". According to her, Serbia has no more loans for the railway which stands and projects which are implemented total EUR 1,2 billion are the biggest move on railroad in the past 40 years.
