BiH introduced duties on import of food from Serbia and Croatia - CEFTA Agreement violated

Bosnia and Herzegovina has introduced duties on import of food from Serbia and Croatia, in spite of the Agreement on free trade zone in southeast Europe.
Representative house of the Parliament of BIH has passed the law that changes CEFTA regulations and introduces duties in amount of 40% on import of milk, meat and meat products from Serbia and Croatia. Previously, on September 5, that house of the Parliament of BIH accepted CEFTA Agreement and, one day later, it violated regulations from that agreement.
According to the press from the region, the decision was most probably made under the pressure of the Association of farmers in BiH, while the Council of Ministers of BIH was against the new duties.
