Trebinje gets new hotel and aqua park - Swisslion building tourist and sports complex

Swisslion Takovo, presided by Rodoljub Draskovic, has provided initial EUR 10 million for the construction of tourist and sports complex in the location of Drazin Do - Volujac in the vicinity of Trebinje, Swisslion Trebinje CFO Tomo Bokic confirmed to Srna news agency.

Bokic stressed that the company had already sent a letter of intent to Trebinje Mayor Slavko Vucurevic, asking him to allow for property relations to be resolved and the land to be acquired so the project could be launched as soon as possible. He pointed out that the complex would cover a surface area of 80 hectares and that they were in the process of establishing a new enterprise with a share capital of EUR 10 million, adding that all production companies within the Swisslion system would be part of the ownership structure of the complex - from Vrsac, Belgrade, Milanovac, Skopje to Trebinje.

- The project should be implemented by the end of 2018 in two phases - Bokic said and explained that the first phase would see the construction of aqua park and sports facilities - basketball and futsal fields and an indoor Olympic swimming pool.

Bokic says that the first phase should be completed by the start of the tourist season 2016, adding that hotel and accommodation facilities would be built in the second phase.
