Japanese investors invited to bid for public private partnership projects
Belgrade Mayor Sinisa Mali has spoken to the new ambassador of Japan to Serbia, Juichi Takahara, who promised to invite Japanese investors to bid for public private partnership public utility projects in Belgrade.
Takahara expressed a special interest in public private partnership public utility projects, especially those concerning Vinca landfill and the treatmet of waste and wastewater, Tanjug news agency cited Beoinfo as reporting.
Mali said he would personally receive every interested investor from Japan and provide them with all the necessary assistance.
He stressed the importance of cooperation between the capital cities of the two countries for general relations.
The two sides also discussed the possibility of establishing direct cooperation between Belgrade and Tokyo at the meeting.
They agreed that the two capitals could work together, especially in the field of culture and education.
The mayor of Belgrade also invited Ambassador Takahara to an investment forum to be held September 22 in Belgrade.
