Sale of hotels in Sovenia
Slovenia is facing huge sale of hotels. As "Finance writes and "Poslovni dnevnik" reports, numerous hotels are within the bankruptcy procedure and portfolio of real estate of bad banks.
HETA Asset Resolution AG, so-called bad bank is selling
majority of hotels. It comprises problematic placements of bad Austrian Hypo
Alpe Adria bank. The Diana hotel in Murska Sobota, built in 1965 and completely
rehabilitated in 2009 is also under hammer at EUR 2,1 m.
Hotels in Slovenian ownership abroad are under hammer as well. Vida Gaberc, trustee in bankruptcy of Rasice point, will September 1 try to sell at
public auction STC hotel to popular Serbian tourist destination Zlatibor. The
hotel has a sports hall and 2500 four-meter land where expansion is possible
and initial price is EUR 1,8 m. Apart from that, Factor bank is selling three
hotels in the Black sea in Bulgaria which could not have been sold at auctions
so far.
