American company, Sungard, with Belgrade-based development center sold at USD 9 billion

Fidelity National Information Services, a provider of banking and payment technology yesterday acquired Sungard in agreement totaling USD 9,1 billion, including company debts, Start it reports.

With this amount, 45% of which cash and 55% in shares,, 100% stake at Sungard and FIS forecasts that this purchase will generate saving of USD 200 m until 2017.



Sungard is one of leading software production companies in finance field with an annual profit of USD 2, 8 billion and 13.000 employees.


Joint companies will have more than USD 9,2 billion of annual profit, 55.000 employees in over 100 countries, one of them Serbia. In Belgrade, Sungard has 140 employees, Start it portal reported.
