Accompanied by Defense Minister Bratislav Gasic, Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic and Ljubisa Dikovic, the chief of the General Staff of the Serbian armed forces, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic attended the presentation of part of the product portfolio of the Slozeni borbeni sistemi (Complex Battling Systems) factory on Saturday (July 25th) and spoke to its management on that occasion.

This factory is going to commission new facilities for producing artillery and other tubes as well as an assembly plant by the year's end.

Commissioning of the facility for producing tubes will ensure important components for producing artillery arms and reduce dependence on import. The production complex of Complex Battling Systems in Velika Plana has been built in four phases since 2013.

The surface area of all production facilities in Velika Plana is 12,400 square meters, whereas the investment in the acquisition of land and construction of production facilities with accompanying infrastructure and work equipment totals EUR 13.6 million.

Borbeni slozeni sistemi was founded by Jugoimport – SDPR, a state-owned company with decades-long tradition of trade in armament, military equipment and technology transfer.
