Without noise and pollution - implementation of modern systems is finished at “Nikola Tesla” airport

At Belgrade’s Airport of “Nikola Tesla” has been finished the implementation of modern systems on 6 air fingers of the Platform C, which allows the reduction of noise and pollution.

As stated in the notification, two new systems allow for the planes which park on Platform C to shut down the engines and auxiliary power group which they used until now for powering the plane with electric energy and with conditioned air.

All large planes can use this system now. ATR planes and other smaller planes can use Platform A of the Belgrade Airport. The value of this investment hasn’t been given, but it was pointed out that it had been financed from the company’s budget.
