TENT to pour RSD 70 m in railroad modernization

As TENT announced, they expect the works will start in June this year and one of the most important works will refer to reconstruction of telecommunications infrastructure which comprises set up of optical cable at the Stubline-Vorbis section (Obrenovac), Stubline-Brgule (Obrenovac iandUb) and Brgule-Vreoci section (Lazarevac and Ub).

This is the second stage of modernization of the railroad from Vreoci to Obrenovac which will completely end the project of optical data transfer, TENT announced.

Important works will also be carried out at the Brgule-Vreoci section at the territory of Lazarevac municipality where insurance of road crossings and their construction development will be rehabilitated on three locations.

Reconstruction of road crossings should additionally improve safety of road and railroad traffic on this part of the railroad.

They also planned reconstruction of lightning at loading stations at railway station within the Thermal power plant Kolubara in Veliki Crljeni which will facilitate manipulation during coal delivery.

At the network of railroad of TENT, within this year’s works, the first stage of reconstruction of station Tamnava which belongs to territories of two municipalities - Lazarevac and Ub will also be carried out.

Industrial railroad from Vreoci to Obrenovac implies railway network 100 km long which is ranked among the busiest railroads in Europe.
