Heart sideburn made of pig intestine - KCS for the first time in time of the world used method of repair of a part of heart

At the Clinical center of Serbia, on Tuesday for the first time in the part of the world, a fix of one of four heart sideburns with biological material from small intestine of specially grown pig which has been used in the world in only a few the most developed countries since a year ago. Specific thing is that it is a sideburn which rarely needs fixes and methods used so far such as installation of mechanical or biological valve in these cases are inadequate and followed by a number of complications.
New technique was carried out by our doctors professor dr. Miljko Ristic, cardio surgeon and the head of KCS, cardio surgeon Sasa Kacar and anesthesiologist Milica Terzic with the big support of a colleague from the Czech Republic. Cardio surgeon Petr Nemec, professor at the University in Brno, brought a new biological sideburn which was made by a German company.
