Austrian Railways sold daughter company in Serbia after doubts with respect to corruption



"Austrian Railways" (OeBB) sold its shipping company "Trans Cargo Logistic" after doubts with respect to corruption appeared, Vienna Standard reports.
After irregularities in Hungary, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine and Slovakia, freight transporter , OeBB "Rail Cargo Austria" (RCA) came across "visibility" in its unit in charge for business in Serbia.
Just like with Slovakian "Express-Interfracht" (EX-IF) , in "Trans Cargo Logistic GmbH" (TCL) doubt emerged for fee pays for which there are no explainable used services, newspaper reports.
As "Standard" claims, fees are questionable, according to insider, paid through the Cayman islands
According to OeBB, TCL, which was transporting freight for RCA, sold to partners RCA, businessmen Dragutin and Mihailo Vukicevic, which had a stake of 50%.
It was also stated that TCL had only marginal stake in freight transport of OeBB, of some 1% of turnover.
The price at which TCL was sold to the Vukicevic brothers, as Standard claims, stating no name insiders was “more than cheap”.
