MIHAJLOVIC: Relocation of Bubanj Potok toll gate kicks off this summer

(Zorana Mihajlovic) Serbian Ministry of Construction, Transportation and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic said Tuesday that work on the relocation of Bubanj Potok toll gate on the highway near Belgrade would start this summer, adding that that was not a precondition for Swedish IKEA to obtain a permit to build a department store.

- Relocation of the toll gate is not a precondition for the Swedish company to get a building permit - Mihajlovic told the press in the Parliament of Serbia and added that the protocol signed between her ministry and IKEA stipulated that the relevant toll gate must be relocated before the start of construction of the IKEA department store.

She noted that the toll gate relocation project was completed, stressing that work should commence in the summer.
