Cooperation between Vrnjačka Banja and Norwegian Municipality of Hatfjeldal

- Representatives of Vrnjačka Banja spa and NOrwegian Municipality of Hatfjeldal signed Agrement yesterday (June 7, 2007) on friendship and cooperation - Tourist-Sports Center of Vrnjačka Banja announced.

The aim of the Agreement is development of friendship between these two municipalities and their citizens on the foundations of historical relations between these two countries and joint interests of municipalities in economic and social field .

By this Agreement, municipalities of Vrnjačka Banja spa and Hatfjeldal established cooperation in field of economy, agriculture, tourism, environment protection, public utility infrastructure, social activities, democratization of local self-government, exchange of information, sports and cultural collaboration.

Municipality of Hatfjeldal is settled in the continental part of Norway and it has about 1,500 inhabitants.

Norwegian delegation, led by the Mayor of that municipality, Almas Azger, consisted of special advisor for schools, kindergartens and culture, Jon Erik Davidsen, economy advisor, Ognjete Toentsh, associate for agriculture Snježana Bodegrajac.

THe delegation visited Town Hall of Vrnjačka Banja, mountain Goč, lake "Selište", ski center and sheep farm "Gočanka" in village of Stanišinci.
