Ministries of Defense of Serbia and Kingdom of Norway signed protocol on donation of light field hospital worth 1m USD


The Chief of the Military-Medical Academy (VMA), general major Prof. Dr. Miodrag Jevtić, and the delegate of the Ministry of Defense of Kingdom of Norway to Serbia, lieutenant colonel Terje Hoveštad, signed the protocol yesterday (May 29, 2007) between the Ministry of Defense of Serbia and Norway on donation of light field hospital of the second level and the training equipment set.
In the name of the Ministry of Defense of Serbia, Jevtić thanked on such big donation, pointing out that the signing of the protocol was the finale of fruitful collaboration between Serbia and Norway.
- Formal transfer of light field hospital and training equipment set, which will give Serbia capacity for international peace operations worth about 1m USD, will take place on June 29 in the presence of the ministers of defense of Serbia and Norway - Jevtić announced and added that the Army of Serbia and medical corps of Serbia would, in that way, significantly increase their capacity for active participation in all activities of the Peace Partnership.
