New way of car renting - In 2015, Car4use starts car sharing service in Belgrade

This year, Car4use will start in Belgrade a new kind of car renting so called car sharing. Compared to rent-a – car, Car4use will rent cars for shorter periods of time and users will not take them over and return to company address but they will be able to take car they rent at different locations in Belgrade. Also, the difference is that car users will be able to leave a car wherever they want. Booking and finding an available car will be done through internet application.

At the beginning, 30 cars, fiat 500 and fiat punto, at the price of RSD 1.000 per hour of drive will be available. The head of Car4use, Jelena Jevtovic, says the models were picked up since they are adapted to city drive, they can be parked easily and they do not spend much.

Another difference compared to rent-a-car is that users will have a free parking and fuel at all NIS and Gazprom gas stations. When the service starts,at ,http://www.car4use.com/ a map will be available showing a user where the nearest car to rent and take is.

- It is sure we will try to have vehicles at disposal to the citizens of Belgrade in all parts of the town – Jevtovic says and adds that in foreign towns where this service has already been available, 37 to 80 people uses the same car weekly.

The first car sharing service in this region

- We came to the idea of opening car sharing in Belgrade a few years ago when we, travelling European cities, had the opportunity to meet this kind of transport. We started with the idea and we had to work so that a complex system such as car sharing could be implemented in Belgrade as well – Jevtovic says and explains that business stabilization and meeting the market with the service is the most important to start the service in Serbia.

In order to have more successful promotion, Car4use found a strategic partner, telecommunication company Vip mobile with which they previously shot a commercial.

- With this company we have a two-year contract on marketing and technical cooperation.
