Implementation of Law on planning and construction starts - Faster to construction permit as of March 1 latest

As of today, full implementation of the Law on planning and construction which implies construction permits in less than a month at one stop shop starts since all 28 bylaws essential for its implementation has been adopted.

VP of the Government and the minister of construction, traffic and infrastructure, Zorana Mihajlovic, said at the conference at the Government of Serbia that still in towns and municipalities it was left that by March 1 latest they implement planned joined procedure of construction permits issuance.

She said local self-governances have no more excuse for not implementing the law which was adopted in December last year.

Mihajlovic also announced that by the end of the year, electronic construction permit will be implemented as well.

As she said, citizens and investors will from now on appear at the stops two to three times only – to get data, submit documentation and get permit.

The Ministry prepared and adopted 28 bylaws – 26 regulations and two regulations in planned deadline which expires today and Mihajlovic said the ministry will help local self-governances in law implementation.
