Zrenjanin to solve potable water issue soon – Italian Zilio fulfils tender requirements

Head of Zrenjanin-based PUC "Vodovod i kanalizacija”, Goran Tajdic, confirmed for RTV that the resource commission accepted the offer of Italian company Gruppo Zilio for the potable water treatment services in Zrenjanin. Tadic outlined that next week, the contract will be signed with that company.

Head of Zrenjanin-based PUC "Vodovod i kanalizacija”, explained that the Supervisory Board will meet on Thursday and after that it will send proposal of contract signing to the Assembly of Zrenjanin.

- The Commission checked the documentation and concluded that Grupa Zilio fulfilled all tender request and after that it proposed me, as a responsible person, signing of the contract with the bidder. Since it is an important issue, a meeting of the Supervisory Board was called which will sent the proposal to the City Assembly - Tadic said.

He added since the moment of contract signing, Gruppo Zilio has a deadline of eight months to implement agreed works.

At last week’s bids opening, the resource commission concluded that the company is the only interested one for solving potable water issues in Zrenjanin which has been banned for usage for ten years.
