Households and small customers which use rights to select gas or electricity supplier at free market and then for whatever reason they stay without their supplier, can return to regular, public supplying, Serbian Energy Agency announced (AERS).

As stated in the announcement, based on the new Law on energy, as of January 1, 2015, only households and small customers have the right on public supplying at prices governed by the Energy Agency.

It was defined that small electricity buyers are companies and entrepreneurs with less than 50 employees, total annual profit of up to EUR 10 m and spend annually up to 30.000 kwh and small customers of natural gas the ones which spend up 100.000 cubic meters per year.

Households and small customers can keep public supplying and supply in line with the existing contracts but they have the right and an option (but not compulsory thing) to agree at the market supplying with any electricity and natural gas supplying, it was stated at the AERS announcement

All other customers must have a contact on supplying at market terms and if there is no such as contract, a customer can use spare supplying only in the cases implied by the Law on energy, and 60 days maximum.
