Half a billion dinars of grants as support to businessmen - Governmental program of economy activity rehabilitation after floods adopted


The Government of Serbia and the Governmental program of rehabilitation of economic activities in areas flooded in May and for the needs of rehabilitation and incentives to economic activities, the government set aside half a billion euros.
Today, the Office for support and rehabilitation of flooded areas has announced
today that the program comprises grants to micro and small businessman in
flooded areas which on May 30 had up to 50 employees.
Grant is assigned based on the headcount number and can total RSD 240.000 to
600.000.
The minister of trade, Zeljko Sertic and the head of the Office for support and
rehabilitation of flooded areas, Marko Blagojevic, presented the Program today
to businessmen in Obrenovac.
Sertic said he expects that 700 companies will get flat support based on
adopted governmental program.
The Embassy of Norway set aside half a million euros through the program “Financial
support for the MME sector in Obrenovac after floods”.
President of the Obrenovac municipality, Miroslav Cuckovic, thanked to the
government of Serbia and Norway for the support.
