Svrljig-based Trilord opens new furniture production department

New furniture production department at Svrljig-based plant Trilord, which employed 60 people more, started operating yesterday. Through incentives provided by the Agency for foreign investments and export promotion and loans frm the Fund for development, a small family company expanded production and product range. The minister of trade, Zeljko Sertic, said the funds for further incentives of entrepreneurs were provided in the budget.


One of 60 new people is Dejan Mitic. He used to work in state-owned plant of furniture which went bankruptcy. He is satisfied with the new joc since he has not had constant income for a long time.

The Trilord plant started operating ten years ago. They were first dealing only with sponge cutting and the new section saw the furniture production start.


Apart from EUR 4.000 per an employee, the company has used six loans of the Development fund.

The minister of trade, Zeljko Sertic, says small companies are Serbia’s future and the task of the state is to provide them support. Svrljig-based company is planning expansion since their chairs have already been in demand in the countries of the region
