NIS and "Srbijagas" together on tender for "Montenegrobonus"?

The Assistant of the Minister of Mining and Energy, Milutin Prodanović, stated that the representatives of the Ministry had spoken to the representatives of Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) and "Srbijagas" about possibilities of forming consortium and joint appearance of those two Serbian companies on the tender for strategic partner of Montenegrin company "Montenegrobonus".
Prodanović said that it had been agreed at the meeting that the way should be found how to apply for the strategic partner of "Montenegrobonusa", because "Srbijagas" had property in Montenegro- company "Energogas" Podgorica Ltd., which uses part of property of "Montenegrobonus" for distribution of liquid oil gas.
- We hope that Petroleum Industry of Serbia will appear on the tender either independently or together with "Srbijagas", as well as that Serbian derivatives will be exported to Montenegrin market. We also hope that we will keep the leading place in the energy sector in that part of southeast Europe - he pointed out.
According to Prodanović, the participation in the tender and possible strategic partnership with "Montenegrobonus" will raise the price of NIS before the privatization.
