Skype Translator starts today

Skype, Microsoft’s VoIP communications service, as of today, gets new function and application which enables users voice calls translations. Thus, users can communicate in their mother tongue without the need to learn completely new language.

At the moment, Skype Translator can automatically translate voice calls of users in English and Spanish while a number of language options will added in the future. Skype Translator Preview is compatible with Windows 10 preview and Windows 8.1 operational systems. Microsoft presented this technology a few months ago during the presentation and the company outlines that the tool proved to be useful to students. Microsoft announced that Skype Translator will be able to translate into over 40 languages.
