Investment fund "Fima ProActiv" in operation in Serbia starting from May 3


The second investment fund in Serbia, "Fima ProActive", will start to work on May 3. This was announced yesterday (April 23, 2007) at the presentation of the Fund in the Chamber of Commerce of Belgrade.
- Registration of investment units commenced on April 16 and each citizen of juristic person can buy them at price of 1,000 RSD prior to April 30 – said the portfolio manager Vladimir Pavlović.
The founder of this Fund is "Fima group" from Varaždina, of which value of assets is 400m EUR.
Unlike the balanced funds, this Fund is the development one, which implies bigger investment risk.
- This is the Fund of the property value growth and it is more risky, but it also should bring bigger income that the balanced fund – Pavlović explained.
According to his words, this fund is different from the balanced fund by the fact that it invests at least 75% of its portfolio into stocks. For the time being, "Fima ProActive" is limited to investments into securities on domestic capital market.
