Austrian producer of beverages Prinz wants fruit from Krusevac


The mayor of Krusevac, Dragi Nestorovic and the City council member, Zoran Veljkovic, visited Austrian company, Fein-Brennerei Prinz, which deals with the production of spirit products and wines. Prinz is located near Bergenz, near the crossroads of Austria, Switzerland and Germany in this region it is one of the biggest producers of spirit products and wines, it was announced at the official city website.
At the meeting, Thomas Prinz owner of the company and his son Maximilian, presented to guests their work and the product range and production departments. They expressed their wish to help Krusevac and Serbia in fruit growing development so that certain kinds would adapt as easy as possible to highly demanding EU market.
During the talks with the host, guests from Krusevac got useful information and advice which can be used in our conditions and with some changes can immediately comply with EU requirements. According to the words of the City council member, Zoran Veljkovic, the cooperation could expand to other parts of Serbia so that Serbia would, apart from plum, would be famous for other kinds of fruit as well.
Family company, Prinz, was set up in 1924 and during the past 20 years they have been placing their products in Austria and majority of Western Europe markets. They have 450 employees and their plantations in a few countries.
They agreed that after Christmas and New Year’s holidays, company heads visit Krusevac and meet its potential and current situation onsite.
