Urgent reconstruction of Sava center requires RSD 23 m

With the budget rebalance, the Government set aside RSD 100 m for the organization of the Summit of China and CEE countries which the prime ministers Aleksandar Vucic and Lee Checiang will open. One quarter of the amount could go on the Sava center rehabilitation where the meeting will be held.

As Novosti found out, discussions of the representatives of the government, the city of Belgrade, the management of the Sava center have been in progress so that calculation on how much money is essential for necessary works and overhauls of not only that building but the surrounding roads.

According to the first calculations, for urgent makeup of the center, it is essential to set aside RSD 20 - 23 million. This comprises rehabilitation of the roof construction because the ceiling was damaged on a number of places, then it requires heating system rehabilitation and toilets refreshing in delegates ‘ offices.

As Novosti found out at the government, the governmental interest is to fix the Sava center, especially because as of January 1 Serbia will head OEBS and will host a few important international meetings.
