Next week Government to announce a list of 100 companies in restructuring which step into bankruptcy

Minister of trade, Zeljko Sertic, has said today that next week the Government of Serbia will publish a list of more than 100 firms in restructuring which will go into bankruptcy.

- Firms which cannot work, cannot be at the state’s cost but everybody should know that bankruptcy is not an end for a company because someone else can buy it from the bankruptcy.

There are different ways how a company which went bankrupt can start working – Sertic said at the meeting organized by the American Chamber of Commerce.

The minister added that in early spring, the Government will start changes to the Law on bankruptcy so that, as he said, they would additionally specify how firms from bankruptcy can continue functioning successfully.
