MALI:Mubadala's arrival in stages

The mayor of Belgrade, Sinisa Mali, says Mubadala’s investments in Serbia will be carried out gradually.

Mali said for Politika that firstly, research center opening is planned where fifty PhDs should be hired.

- They are now estimating our universities and checking whether we have potential for that center. If it works, the plant for chips production at the territory of Belgrade would follow which is an investment of three-four billion dollars – he said.

Mali reminded that the UAE –based company has three plants of that kind, in New York, Singapore and Dresden.

-In order to get into that company, it is necessary to have prerequisites, human resources and infrastructure. Therefore, it will be in stages if we fulfill the prerequisites mentioned – the mayor of Belgrade pointed out.

He also outlined that Arab investors are “”at this moment the most wanted in the world”.

-They have funds and very serious requests. It is a privilege to have them as an investor – Mali estimated who is also an advisor for finance to the Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vucic.
