Telenor put new base station in Subotica into operation

Mobile operator, Telenor, put its new base station in Subotica into operation which will, as it was announced, contribute to better territorial coverage with network and signal improvement in the north part of Subotica.

- Communication of users here will be easier, faster and more secure and the objective is additional improvement of user experience – it was announced.

Telenor’s plan is to, apart from investments in the network of EUR 20 m, optical cables in more than 800 km are installed.

Users can experience all advantages of Telenor network such as fast mobile internet, network security and data transfer, regardless of the fact whether it is a phone a tablet or a laptop, it was added.

The network renovation project, as it was stated, started in 2010 as one of the biggest capital investments of Telenor since it arrived to Serbia.

- With an objective to enable users the most quality and best service, there is a continuous investing in infrastructure network. Smart network currently covers more than 80% of population and coverage can be checked at any moment at the official Telenor’s webpage – the telecommunication company said.
