Novi Sad-based company "ECO-Recycling" to open two tire recycling factories, first of the kind in Serbia

Company "ECO-Recycling" from Novi Sad and Danish "Eldan" have signed the contract on delivery of two units for recycling of old automobile and truck tires. These are the complete factories that use old pneumatics as raw materials and their output product is rubber granules and products made of granules.

These are the first units of this kind in Serbia. The delivery of the first line, which will be located in the vicinity of Novi Sad, is expected in September, while the delivery of the second line will take place at the end of the year and it will be located next to Belgrade-Niš highway.

- With such arrangement of factories, one on the Danube, the other along Corridor 10, we have the widest opportunities for both delivery of semi-finished products, that is, old pneumatics, and sale of ready-made products. Both factories have identical granulation line of capacity of 3 tons per hour, but the production technology and the type of the panel materials will be different - Vlatko Drča, the owner of "ECO-Recycling", explains.

Tire recycling results in rubber granules of 0-4 mm, which are used for repeated production of tires. Playgrounds for children, surfaces in parks and swimming pools are only small part of the wide specter of use of rubber granules. Steel wire is also a product of these factories, because steel wire makes 35% of tire structure.

Contributing to the sustainable development and environment protection, company "ECO-RECYCLING" decided for new technologies in accordance with the standards of European Union.
